Chris is a Colorado native pursuing a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, minoring in Geology. From a young age, Chris has been interested in zoology, ethology, and paleobiology. After a brief period at Montana State University, Chris came back to work learn XRF geochemistry at an archaeology company in his hometown of Golden – and soon enrolled at CU Boulder. Chris is part of research projects studying behavioral genetics in both bees (co-advised with Orit Peleg) and zebrafish (with Yuanyuan Xie). He enjoys hiking, macro photography, and drawing in his free time.
